Understandings
Nearly at the end of signing off on this dimension for the time being, due to my committing to go on a Bunjalung Dreamtime Walkabouts with Lewis Walker, I take pause to consider my understandings. It is only now that it is beginning to dawn on my consciousness just how precious the knowledge of what the aborigines have. It is not that they have not tried to show mankind the answers, but that our thinking is so different from theirs. Not only that, the differences seem to be miles apart, and it is the pompous ego that stops man from being humble enough to stay open to other views of reality. Because of this, we tenaciously hold onto a view that is not working, and has not worked well, since the thinking became hijacked when someone believed someone elses forked tongue somewhere along the line. According to the aborigines themselves, they consider that person to be none other than Eve herself, back in the garden.
The big difference between the thinking, is that the mediator between the spirit world and that of matter, is in the energy totems one can tune into via knowing the energy of the country precisely where one is born. It is that spot that determines the energy of a person throughout their lives, in a guiding way, if they remained tuned into their animal totem. To the aborigine, it is more important to them, to know their totem than even their own mother or father. It tunes a person into their spirit, and is energy in nature. Due to this fact, they consider themselves to be “spiritual beings” over “human beings”, where we get it the other way around when we do not know our earth mother’s totem for each one of us.
It took me 55 years to get back to where I was born, and when I laid on the ground there, it was there that it dawned on me, that the feeling of mother earth underneath me, was the same signature of myself in energy. I tried to tune into the meaning of the place where I lay, which was the place where “father spirit first touched matter”, the meaning of Kurri Kurri, in NSW,
When I was named “Myban” by both Lewis, and Anthony (numbers one and two for being Bunjalung Custodians) it was after the wedge tailed eagle totem, that is the eyes and ears of the world. In a picture painted by Lewis on Myban, it was dropping out of a tear in the sky, into this reality, with the face of a man in the cloud above it. He likened me to dropping out of the sky. I soon found it strange that the totem delivered messages to others, about my arrival to any spot, and it was not just one person that told me this. So whatever connection they did, it was real and permanent to this very day. There is a magical eagle that sorcery talks about, where the person is able to turn into their totem at will. That animal seems to be larger than what is generally found in nature, and cannot be mistaken for the ordinary animal one normally sees. When seeing such a creature, one knows they are seeing that magical one, that is the totem for the species.
In the landscape, are giant shapes that resemble the totem’s Dreaming, such as Whale Dreaming (in the mountains off
To the aborigine, from the time a person becomes an Elder and onwards till when they become ancestors in the spirit realm, they are in charge of those younger than themselves, and country herself. To those younger than being an Elder, they talk to me about life being so short, that there is no need to control (for this is done for us on a higher level already) and that we can truly just enjoy life the way we wish. The control comes from having a dream, and holding it through controlling our own minds, without the need of controlling others. So finding aborigines drunk all of the time, does not necessarily mean that they have no power, or even that their power has been given away. They know better, and hide behind the booze, at least that is my conclusion when seeing the power of their magic in spite of booze.
What is clearly apparent, is the need to remain open without judgement. One cannot assume that alcohol has been the cause of the indigenous breakdown worldwide. If anything, those with Knowledge know how to use the system for this candy floss, which masks what they actually know and can affect via their controlled dreams. If we see this as just a mirror of what is, then perhaps we are nearer to the truth. The truth is that nature and us, are connected in ways that can be traced through, such as I am attempting to do via this article. Not only that, nature is quite fluid, in that a man can shape shift into his totem, once he has been deeply initiated via country. Things changing back and forth before our eyes, might be missed to any untrained eye, for we see nature as static and fixed, where sometimes it clearly is not. It is through watching shadows, and other various exercises, that one gets to see between dimensions as it were.
To me, it makes tiddlywinks out of religious beliefs, for these things work in country over ideas that have no rooting into our reality of the moment. Emotional gobbledegook, perhaps! Totems change with landscape and country, though many indigenous cultures have the same kind of thinking. Take the north American indian in comparison to the aborigine, and you will find the totem system intact. And they are on the opposite side of the same ocean. Money never gives this kind of power, nor connection to the Oneness of it all. Indeed, if anything, it gives rise to false security, and arrogance for what one can do with such. In the process, the greater picture and power that we all can have, is lost in a world full of people more concerned with individuality over ever thinking we need to think of our connectedness into the Oneness.
Religions typically say that we need an atonement in order to find that Oneness again, but atonement to what? It is only in relationship to country that anything begins to make sense. Even here, it is localized to where one lives, and is different as chalk and cheese sometimes, to other places. Travelling around Australia, I have been amazed at the landscape changing by the invisible line that seems to be drawn in the sand, yet a whole new landscape can change that easily! The simplicity of such a system, will awe others, as it has me. Amazingly, it actually works in country beyond anyone’s wildest imagination. Of course, these might be my own presuppositions, that can only attract its own support no matter what I do. I realize this, and can only take comfort in the fact that this has been the view of indigenous cultures for millennia.
As I am in the wind down of signing off this dimension, just as if facing a death sentence via health reasons or society, I hasten to put my last thoughts to paper. This is my conclusions around it all at this level, though feel that confirmation may come from my walkabouts in a little less than a months time. Although able to come and go, I have been given a choice to remain, and it is to that end, that I have been preparing for. I will leave it up to spirit and my totem’s as to whether I come back or not, and what (if any) my final homework might be beyond 58 to physical death. As I have already seen beyond death, this does not frighten me, nor do I have fear around it. I am ready to take that flying leap into my spirit being side of myself, into the forever. It is only the emotional body that makes everything feel heavy and jaded, so large are the changes that never get to be mourned.
To those who have followed my writings; I do hope that you have benefited from my frank discussions with my own mind. It is after all, all self talk, and it is through the talking, that I have come to a better understanding myself. Now the remainder will be decided through the walking of such understanding, in the country itself. The journey continues, and to me, is endless. One day we might all meet in the Dreamtime. In the meantime, remember that the flow is love, and to love is to flow with life. Enjoy every bit of it, for life is only One Time!
In light and love,
~Spiritwind~
